Chaandi Quilted Skirt

Our quilted skirt is adorned with Mashroo fabric, a textile tradition that traces its roots back to the Mughal era. The quilted detailing adds a layer of sophistication and warmth to the skirt, making it an ideal choice for cooler seasons, the silhouette is inspired by punk wrap-around skirts from the 60s. This Mashroo is hand-woven by our artisan partners in Kutchh. Woven by Dalit sisters Amruta and Manjula Vankar, based in Bhujodi. Most weavers would rather let the tradition die than teach their daughters but these two keep it alive and make their family money.
